Frequently Asked Questions
Here's what folks ask us most — where to find the truck, what we serve, and how booking works. Don't see your question? Get in touch and we'll help.
For customers
Where is the truck today?
We're a mobile trailer, so our stops move around. The best place to check is our Find the Truck page and our Facebook page, where we post daily stops and last-minute updates.
Are you at one fixed location?
No — we're a mobile food trailer, not a storefront. We move around Shallotte and Brunswick County for public stops and private events rather than serving from one address.
What are your hours?
Our hours depend on where we're parked that day, so the service window can change from stop to stop. Check the Find the Truck page or Facebook for the times at each stop. We're finalizing our standard hours and will post them here soon.
Does the schedule change?
Yes. Our schedule shifts with the season and the events we serve, so stops can be added or moved. We post the latest updates on the Find the Truck page and on Facebook.
What happens in bad weather?
Severe weather can affect or cancel a stop. When that happens, we do our best to post updates on the Find the Truck page and on Facebook. Our specific weather policy for booked events is being finalized.
Do you accept cards and cash?
We're confirming the exact payment methods accepted at the window. Please check with us before your visit — call or text (910) 408-6431 — and we'll let you know what we currently accept.
Is online ordering available?
We're finalizing whether online ordering will be offered. For now, the way to order is right at the window. For events, use our Book the Truck form.
Can I call ahead?
The best way to reach us is (910) 408-6431. Our call-ahead and pre-order options are still being finalized, so give us a ring and we'll help however we can.
Do items sell out?
Yes — popular items can sell out, especially at busy stops and events. If there's something you're after, it's worth catching us early.
Do prices vary by event?
Pricing details are being finalized. For private events and catering, costs depend on the setup you choose — see our Catering page or send us the details through Book the Truck and we'll follow up.
Is there seating?
As a mobile trailer, we don't typically provide seating ourselves — it depends on the venue or event. Seating arrangements for booked events are something we're happy to talk through, and details are being confirmed.
Is the truck family friendly?
Absolutely. We're a family-operated trailer and welcome guests of all ages — kids included.
Do you have vegetarian options?
We're confirming which vegetarian options are available. If you have dietary needs, please ask us before ordering and we'll do our best to help you find something.
How are food allergies handled?
Our food is prepared in a mobile kitchen where common allergens may be present, so cross-contact can occur. If you have a food allergy, please tell us before ordering and we'll do our best to help you choose.
Do you offer kids' items?
Many of our favorites — like all-beef hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers, and fries — are kid-approved. We're confirming the details of any dedicated kids' items, so ask us at the window.
Can I order for a group?
Yes. For larger orders and groups, the smoothest way is to plan ahead with us — use the Book the Truck form or call (910) 408-6431 so we can be ready for you.
For events & booking
How far ahead should I book?
Earlier is always better, especially for weekends and popular dates. We're finalizing a recommended lead time — in the meantime, send your date through Book the Truck and we'll check availability.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Shallotte and Brunswick County, NC — including Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, Southport, Calabash, and Leland. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
What events do you attend?
We serve neighborhood and HOA food-truck nights, company lunches and employee appreciation, weddings and rehearsal dinners, birthday and graduation parties, festivals and markets, church and school events, fundraisers, breweries and taprooms, and job-site crew meals.
Is there a minimum guest count or sales guarantee?
Any minimums or sales guarantees depend on the event and setup, and the specifics are being finalized. Share your details on the Book the Truck form and we'll let you know what fits.
Is a deposit required?
Deposit details are being finalized. When you send an event request, we'll explain any deposit and how it works before anything is confirmed.
What catering payment options are there?
There are two common setups: guest-paid, where guests order and pay individually, and host-paid, where you cover the cost as a package or prepaid amount. Our Catering page explains both, and you can tell us which you prefer on the Book the Truck form.
Can guests pay individually?
Yes. Guest-paid service — where each guest orders and pays at the window — is one of the setups we offer. It's a popular choice for neighborhood nights and public events.
How much parking space do you need?
We need a level spot with room for the trailer and safe access for guests. Exact space requirements are being confirmed — note your venue details on the Book the Truck form and we'll make sure it works.
Do you need electricity, or do you bring a generator?
Power needs depend on the setup and venue. There's a spot on the Book the Truck form to tell us whether an outlet is available or a generator is allowed, and we'll plan around it. Final requirements are being confirmed.
What's the cancellation and weather policy?
Our cancellation and weather terms for booked events are being finalized. When we confirm your event, we'll walk you through what happens if plans or weather change.
Do you carry liability insurance or provide a certificate of insurance (COI)?
If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, please mention it in your request — there's a note field on the Book the Truck form. We're confirming our insurance and COI details and will address your venue's requirements directly.
Can you do custom menus?
We're happy to talk through what you're hoping to serve. Custom menu options are being finalized, so share your requests on the Book the Truck form and we'll see what we can do.
Do you do fundraisers?
Yes. Fundraisers are one of the event types we regularly serve. Send us the details through Book the Truck and we'll follow up to plan it out.
Still have a question?
Tell us about your event or just say hello — we'll get you the answers and check our availability for your date.
