About Hot Diggity Dogs and Hogs
A friendly, family-operated food trailer bringing Carolina-style BBQ, all-beef dogs, and made-to-order comfort food to Shallotte and Brunswick County, NC.
We're a little red trailer with big flavor. Hot Diggity Dogs and Hogs is a mobile food truck serving Carolina-style BBQ, all-beef hot dogs, hand-pattied burgers, and smoked chicken — with sides, fries, and hush puppies — all around Brunswick County, North Carolina.
You'll find us out near the beaches and around town: Shallotte, Ocean Isle, Sunset and Holden Beach, Southport, Calabash, and Leland. Wherever we park, the goal is the same — fresh, made-to-order food and the kind of warm, down-to-earth service our regulars keep coming back for.
A few things we've become known for: our smoked Gouda fried mac & cheese, the burger folks call "The Melty Mess," a BBQ sandwich people order two at a time, and hot dogs with the best chili and slaw around. But if you ask our customers, it's the people behind the window that make the difference.
The name? It's a play on the classic "hot diggity dog!" — paired with the two happy dancing pigs on our logo. Dogs and hogs. It made us smile, and we hope it makes you smile too.
